№ 004 · About Merchant payments protocol · Closed beta

We believe
moving money
should be cheap,
honest, and final.

MANIFESTO · 01

Payments are infrastructure. Infrastructure should be boring, precise, and impossible to notice.

We started CoinMoove because every "crypto-friendly" processor we tried felt like a side project. Hidden fees. Aggressive spreads. Dashboards that refreshed once an hour. APIs documented in Slack.

So we built the boring version. The version where the rate you quote at checkout is the rate you settle at. The version where reconciliation is a button, not a project. The version a CFO can sign off on without a translator.

We're currently in closed beta with a small group of design partners. Public availability follows our MiCA registration and qualified-custodian onboarding — both in progress as of May 2026.

Principles

How we build.

CoinMoove is in closed beta. We're keeping the principles below honest so that what we ship in public matches what we promise here.

01 · CLARITY

Quoted rate = settled rate.

The rate a customer sees at checkout is the rate the merchant settles at. No hidden spread, no surprise FX. If the network reorgs or the price moves while we wait for finality, that's our risk to manage — not yours.

02 · RESTRAINT

One flat fee. No tiers behind a sales call.

0.5% of every successful transaction, published on this site, the same for everyone until volume genuinely warrants a discount. Pricing changes are versioned and announced 60 days in advance.

03 · CUSTODY

Your funds, not ours.

Customer balances sit with a qualified custodian in segregated wallets. They are not commingled with operating capital, not loaned out, not staked. We publish proof-of-reserves attestations on a quarterly cadence once we leave closed beta.

04 · COMPLIANCE

Boring is the goal.

Travel Rule, OFAC and UN sanctions screening, MiCA-aligned disclosures, FATF Recommendation 16. We don't operate in jurisdictions where we're not licensed, and we say so.

05 · OPEN

SDKs are MIT. Docs are public.

Every SDK is open-source. Documentation requires no login. The OpenAPI spec is the source of truth, generated from the same server that signs your webhooks. We won't break a v1 contract for at least 24 months.

Careers

Hiring with
intent.

We hire deliberately, slowly, and at the moment we have a real reason to. If that's you, send a short note — what you've shipped, what you'd want to ship here.

WE LOOK FOR

People who've shipped something people use.

Not just code — design, compliance, operations, support. We care about evidence over credentials. A side project that 200 people rely on tells us more than a CV.

HOW IT WORKS

Small teams, large autonomy.

Generous compensation, market-rate equity, real autonomy. No open offices, no performative meetings, no theatre. Remote-friendly, with optional gathering weeks each quarter.

GENERAL · OPEN

Write to us — even if there's no listed role.

We post roles when we actually need to hire. The most interesting joins have come from people who reached out before we had a posting. Tell us what you'd build.
